Death Cab for Cutie - A Lack of Color

Hi everyone! I was on youtube searching for videos to post, that are related to racism and then when I made a typo in searching Black or white and accidentally wrote lack and when I meant to type in or I typed in of and LACK OF COLOURS was listed in the suggestions list so I said that is related, so I decided to post it... I hope you enjoy it! I personally thoguht it was ok, but it didn't really make sense when I read over the lyrics, the title made sense just not the words, hmm... please comment and say what you think.

LYRICS
And when I see you
I really see you upside down
But my brain knows better
It picks you up and turns you around
Turns you around
Turns you around

If you feel discouraged
When there's a lack of color here
Please don't worry lover
It's really bursting at the seams
Absorbing everything
The spectrum's A to Z

This is fact, not fiction
For the first time in years
All the girls in every girlie magazine
Can't make me feel any less alone
I'm reaching for the phone

To call at 7:03
And on your machine, I slur a plea
For you to come home
But I know it's too late
I should have given you a reason to stay
Given you a reason to stay
Given you a reason to stay
Given you a reason to stay

This is fact, not fiction
For the first time in years...

LYRICS
And when I see you
I really see you upside down

But my brain knows better

It picks you up and turns you around

Turns you around

Turns you around

If you feel discouraged

When there's a lack of color here

(If you are discouraged by the racism, and when there is no color...)

Please don't worry lover

Absorbing everything

The spectrum's A to Z

This is fact, not fiction

For the first time in years

All the girls in every girlie magazine

Can't make me feel any less alone

I'm reaching for the phone

To call at 7:03

And on your machine, I slur a plea

For you to come home

But I know it's too late

I should have given you a reason to stay

Given you a reason to stay

Given you a reason to stay

Given you a reason to stay

This is fact, not fiction

For the first time in years..

(I think that for the first time in years, the truth is that we are losing color, and the respect that we deserve for it.)
